Guardian Group, in cooperation with Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department, is hosting a State of Tennessee Approved EMS Refresher Course for TN EMS License Renewal and NREMT national component recertification.
The three refresher courses in the series, EMT (20.00 hours), AEMT (25.00 hours), and Paramedic (32.00 hours), meet the minimum categorical education requirements for State of Tennessee EMS License Renewal. In addition, these courses meet the NREMT national component requirements for national certification renewal.
Education credit will be offered through the Tennessee Department of Health Office of Emergency Medical Services and is recognized by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT).
Before registering for the course, please read the following information to ensure you are aware of some important changes from our previous traditional refresher course offerings.
***ATTENDANCE POLICY***
Due to the nature of this course, and the strict guidelines set forth by NREMT, and the State of Tennessee, participants must attend all sessions and hours of the course. There will be NO MAKEUP for absences and credit cannot be issued to any participant that does not attend all sessions and hours. No exceptions will be granted and no refund will be issued to any participant that fails to meet the attendance requirement.
